Initially, Vashu Bhagnani had planned to release SILSIILAY on June 3, but the prolific film-maker eventually opted for June 24. But with PAHELI confirmed for June 24 now, Vashu has decided to pre-pone his film by one week. SILSIILAY is now confirmed for June 17.
It's no point clashing with an SRK film, Vashu admits, It's better to release a week earlier, than in the same week. Incidentally, SRK makes a 10-minute appearance in SILSIILAY and is not merely the sutradhar of the film
