Having penned the dialogues for films such as JIGAR, SUHAAG and RAJA amongst others, writer Tanvir Khan takes a plunge into film direction with MUMKIN, a thriller starring John Abraham, Priyanshu and Bipasha Basu. I had been nursing a desire to get into direction for quite some time now. I was waiting for the right film and I found the subject of MUMKIN quite interesting. Hence, I decided to make my debut with it, reasons Khan, adding that he is enjoying his new job behind the camera.
Speaking about the subject, he says, It's a different kind of thriller. In fact, it belongs to a genre that one hasn't witnessed in Indian cinema before. Having recently commenced a 35-day long spell in Jogeshwari, Khan hopes to wrap up the film by March and release it by June next year.
