Most of the time filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt receives calls from aspiring actors, actresses and new directors who want a break in his films. But recently he received a call from a debutante director who wanted him to play a cameo in his film.

The film directed by Sanjay Amar is titled Future To Bright Hai Ji, which features Aamir Basheer and Sonal Saigal in the main lead, is a romantic comedy.

Post receiving the call, though Bhatt did not know the director, he asked him to come over to his office. Sanjay went to his office and narrated the film, and also briefed him about his small, but very important role in the film.

However, Bhatt requested that before replying whether to act in the film, he wanted to go through the entire script. Sanjay provided him the bound script of the film, and later received a call from Bhatt stating that he liked his concept and would like to support him in his venture by acting in it.

Says an elated Sanjay, "I have been a fan of Bhatt Sahab since my childhood & have seen all his films till date. It is an honor for me that he agreed to play an important cameo in my very first film. He is so generous and encouraging! I shall always be grateful to him."
