Salman Khan latest cinematic release Bharat has been raking in the moolah at the box office since its release. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar the film which released across 4000 screens in the domestic market has been seeing a consistent flow of collections over its five day extended weekend.

Collecting Rs. 150.10 cr Bharat does not manage to surpass the opening weekend collections of Sultan that had collected Rs. 180.36 cr, however the business of the film manages to post better figures than Salman’s other release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that had collected Rs. 129.77 cr to become the actor’s second highest opening weekend grosser. If that wasn’t all, the opening weekend business of Bharat also manages to surpass the collections of Salman other films like Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 114.93 cr, Race 3 that collected Rs. 106.47 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 102.6 cr, Ek Tha Tiger that collected Rs. 100.16 cr, Bodyguard that collected Rs. 88.75 cr, Kick that collected Rs. 83.83 cr, and Dabangg 2 that collected Rs. 65 cr.
Currently, Bharat enjoys an unopposed run at the box office and is expected to continue to rake in the moolah over the ensuing weekdays as well. Now, all that remains to be seen is whether the film goes on to become one of Salman Khan’s highest opening week grosser.
