The latest flick Munna Michael starring Tiger Shroff, Nidhhi Agerwal and Katrina Kaif and directed by Sabbir Khan released last Friday. This action dance musical received mixed response from general public that affected its Day 2 performance. The Day 1 earnings too weren’t huge but the film had a decent growth on Day 3.

The film earned Rs 21.67 cr and ranks as the tenth highest opening weekend grosser of 2017, much behind the previous releases like Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that had collected Rs. 128 cr, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees that had collected Rs. 93.24 cr, Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil that had collected Rs. 67.46 cr, Salman Khan’s Eid release Tubelight that had collected Rs. 64.77 cr, Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 that had collected Rs 50.46 cr, Varun Dhawan starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania that had collected Rs. 43.05 cr, Ranbir Kapoor’s musical fantasy Jagga Jasoos that had collected Rs. 33.17 cr, Arjun Kapoor’s Half Girlfriend that had collected and docudrama Sachin – A Billion Dreams that had collected Rs. 28.05 cr.
It is however better than Taapsee Pannu starrer Naam Shabana that earned Rs 18.76 cr in its first weekend.
