Tips Industries has committed over Rs. 120 crore for acquiring music rights of over 60 films like Khatta Meetha, Humko Tumse Pyar Hai, Aryan, Yaadein, Chori Chori, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Pyar Ishq Mohabbat & Chalo Ishq Ladaye. Over Rs. 30 crore has already been advanced for the rights. This makes TIPS by far the largest in the new releases film music category. Salman Khan has bid for TIPS shares worth Rs. 10 crores in the initial public offering. The issue has received bids amounting to Rs. 40-50 crores from bollywood personalities during the book-building round. The bids have been received from Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, David Dhawan, Boney Kapoor, Jatin-Lalit, Sajid Nadiadwala, Vashu Bhagnani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra & Satish Kaushik to name a few.
