She may be in the US for her work commitments but Priyanka Chopra's heart lies in her country. While we have often heard that the actress keeps a tab with her mother Madhu Chopra to understand the progress of her forthcoming regional films, Priyanka has now decided to take a step further and venture into Bollywood as a producer.
Priyanka Chopra to produce Bollywood films soon?Interestingly, when her banner Purple Pebble Pictures was announced, there were several speculations about Priyanka Chopra producing forthcoming Bollywood films. But soon the actress announced that she would be focusing on regional content which was followed by the release of her debut Bhojpuri film as a producer. Considering that Priyanka has been abroad for a while, her work in India is being handled by her mother Madhu Chopra who is now focusing on their Marathi film Ventilator and also yet another schedule of their Punjabi film. However, now it seems that the actress wants to expand her production house and recent rumours suggest that she has already kickstarted the process for the same. We hear that Madhu Chopra has already started hunting for new staff to take care of the Bollywood wing and will make an official announcement soon on the same.
Readers may be aware that Priyanka Chopra is currently juggling between the shoot for the second season of 'Quantico' and her Hollywood debut opposite Dwayne Johnson, Baywatch.
