Aamir Khan is looking forward to Lagaan which be releasing sometime around Idd. The movie is being presented by Jhamu Sughand and the music will be marketed by Sony Music. Aamir plays a dhoti-clad simple villager called Bhuvan who is honest and possesses the strength to fight against injustice. He has a strong leadership qualities and can mobilize the whole village to pull off the impossible. Initially, it was Rani Mukherjee who was being considered for the lead role opposite Aamir but she did not have spare dates. So Gracy Singh was roped in. Lata Mangeshkar has sung a bhajan in the movie. The music is by A.R. Rahman.
