Hailing from the family of India's most influential politicians, the Gandhis, Sanjay Gandhi's life story was covered in a nutshell in the book 'The Sanjay Story', written by journalist Vinod Mehta. Now bringing the life of Sanjay Gandhi on the silver screen is Hansal Mehta.
The filmmaker, who is keen on making films based on real life incidents and personalities, has made Shahid (based on human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi) and is also working on Aligarh and Simran, which are too based on true stories. Now, we hear that Hansal Mehta will be directing and co-producing the biopic on Sanjay Gandhi.
