In another demonstration of the skewed thinking of the Sangh Parivar, Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray hit out against Muslims in Bollywood. Thackeray said "We have tolerated the Khans of the film indusry for too long, how long are we going to tolerate them?" Thackeray was speaking on the occasion of the Sena's 34th aniversary. The extent of their warped world view can be gauged by the allegation of right-wing Hindu organisation Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh's mouthpiece Panchjanya. Panchjanya said that the three top Khans, Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir, are the puppets of Dawood Ibrahim. Dawood controls the whole film industry and therefore these Khans are ruling the roost. The industry has refused to promote Hindu Actors due to Dawood's pressure. It further says that the attack on Rakesh Roshan was carried out because Dawood is threatened by the rise of Hrithik Roshan who is a Hindu. The reality is that the attack was carried by another underworld outfit unrelated to Dawood, because Rakesh refused to part with the overseas rights of Kaho Na Pyar Hai. It says that Abhishek Bachan is another actor responsible for Dawood's sleepless nights. This is not the first time that right-wing Hindu organizations like Shiv Sena and the RSS have spoken against Muslims and tried to divide the film industry on communal lines, especially an industry which is oasis of the Hindu-Muslim brotherhood which is an eyesore to the Sangh Parivar.
