After achieving success and acclaim in the renowned Film Festivals of Venice and Toronto, Anurag Kashyap's latest directorial venture That Girl In Yellow Boots which stars his actress wife Kalki Koechlin, is all geared up for its grand US Premiere. The director-actor duo will walk the red carpet at The Asia Society, NYC on the evening of Wednesday, August 24. Anurag and Kalki were spotted at Mumbai International Airport enroute to the US last night.
Glad about this event, Anurag adds with excitement, "I am very delighted as this film is getting such a great response. This film was emotionally the most draining film to shoot. It was a tough one; especially because it was made with borrowed money. I am very contented looking at the credibility my film has received." Kalki, who plays the character of Ruth in this movie, is as excited as her director, "I am thrilled, excited, nervous and very happy for the premier, I am so looking forward to it."
