After Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor, a special appearance with Deepika Padukone in Piku and Indo- Brit film Bombairiya, Akshay Oberoi, who made his debut with Pizza 3D, is now starting his shoot for Jar Entertainment and Mukesh Chhabra's Gurgaon.
Interestingly, Akshay will be seen in a totally new avatar in Gurgaon, as he plays a local Haryanvi boy living in city. And since his character has a very rustic look and feel to it, he's been asked to learn the local language by director Shanker Raman (national award winning cinematographer). In fact Akshay has been training to learn Haryanvi language/diction by a local Haryanvi tutor and has been watching few famous Haryanvi movies to get the accent and nuances correct. If that wasn't enough, the actor even breaks into Haryanvi at times while talking to his friends and family to practice the language perfectly.
Akshay is in Gurgaon right now to commence the shoot.
