A Flying Jatt saw good jump in collections on Saturday. After bringing in Rs. 6 crore on Friday, the film saw Rs. 7.35 crore coming in on Saturday. With this, the collections have now reached Rs. 20.45 crore. These are decent numbers so far and while collections to the tune of Rs. 9 crore+ would be good for the Tiger Shroff starrer, anything over Rs. 8.5 crore today is pretty much expected. The Balaji film is seeing good patronage coming from kids and that is helping it grow despite mixed reviews coming its way.
Rustom jumped more than 50% from Friday [Rs. 1.25 crore*] as Saturday saw Rs. 2 crore* more coming in. This is a good momentum building in for the Akshay Kumar starrer as for the adult audiences, the Zee and Kriarj flick is seeing continued footfalls. The film has already crossed Rs. 120 crore in India and it is pretty much expected that Rs. 123 crore would be crossed by tonight. The film would then just be Rs. 6 crore away from Akshay Kumar's highest grosser of the year, Airlift [Rs. 129 crore].
Happy Bhag Jayegi is working with the young crowds and that was reflected in Rs. 1.25 crore* more that came on Saturday. The film has now hit the Rs. 20 crore mark and a big jump today would really help it add on well to the cumulative total. Slowly but steadily, the film is turning out to be a safe proposition for its makers (Eros and Aanand L. Rai).
