The Punjabi film Dil Diyaan Gallan released in the overseas markets last week on Friday. Starring Parmish Verma and Wamiqa Gabbi the film started off on a steady note in the overseas markets raking in USD 34,449. Now, post its opening weekend the first Monday in the overseas market saw the business of Dil Diyaan Gallan hold steady.
In fact, unlike other releases that see a considerable drop in business on the first Monday, the overseas collections of Dil Diyaan Gallan saw USD 31,614 [Rs. 0.22 cr] coming in on Day 4. Interestingly, when compared to its opening day business in the overseas markets, the first Monday collections have seen a rather minute decrease.
If that wasn’t all, when further looking at the overseas business of Dil Diyaan Gallan, it is interesting to note that the Canadian market makes up for a major chunk of the film’s overseas business. This is followed by the overseas territories of Australia, UK, New Zealand and the US.
As of now, given the current trend the overseas business of Dil Diyaan Gallan is expected to remain more or less stable over the coming weekdays.
