The Rajkummar Rao led Prahaar is turning out to be a failure at the box office, as the film has failed to show substantial growth in biz on the second day. According to early estimates, the courtroom drama has collected Rs. 3 crore to Rs. 3.25 crore on Saturday, taking the two-day collections to Rs. 5.25 crore

The film should have shown bigger gains on Saturday, more so because the start was on the lower side, but this more or less spells trouble for the trajectory in the long run. Prahaar has received a good reception in the media, but the audience interest seems to be on the lower side, which is resulting in a not-so-good spike in business.
With this, the first weekend of Prahaar is expected to be around the Rs. 9 crore mark, and from there, it might be a task to even hit the Rs. 20 crore mark at the box office in India. The numbers are dismal internationally, and given the high costs, it could prove to be a loss-making film for the producers.
Prahaar has also been hit by competition on all fronts from films like Jailer 2, Nayyi Navelli and Drishyam 3, among others.
