Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra recently announced that the Sonam will be a part of his next film Mirza Sahibaan, after being impressed with her performance in his recentfilm Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
And now taking a step further, Rakeysh Mehra wants to cast Waheeda Rehman in Mirza Sahibaan as Sonam's grandmother. Rakeysh believes that Waheeda will be apt for this role as Sonam resembles her a lot when it comes to their personality. Also, Rakeysh has always been fond of the yesteryear actress and has cast her in his earlier films like Rang De Basanti and Delhi 6 in prominent roles.
