The mad rush for money by the filmstars is getting hotter day by day. They need hard cash, be it appearance at the parties, or inaugurating a shop or dancing at the wedding parties. We can consider this reasonable since it adds a flavor to the event. But demanding cash for photo sessions and interviews is something one cannot understand. Stars like Sonali Bendre who is under the misconception that she is the no.1 actress on the internet is one of the actresses to fall prey to this money bandwagon. According to Sonali, one of the leading glossies told her that a poll which they conducted on the net, she emerged ahead of Aishwarya. But the fact which needs to be taken into account that the number of votes polled were about 1600 which itself is not a good figure in the online world. The surveys which were conducted on IndiaFM polled about 2 lakh votes, shows that Aishwarya leads the poll and Sonali figures at the 8th position. Whatever the case may be, it is under this misconception that Sonali demands cash for giving interviews which are to be published on the net. She feels that when she rules the net, it is her right to fill her pockets and get more net value. A word of caution for Sonali. If the internet publications decide to ban her from the net, she will fall from 8th position to the top position at the bottom.(we presume that the mag forgot to tell her that she did lead the polls from the bottom) Only then she will realize the value of of her net assets, right ?
