Rakesh Roshan is disgusted with a section of the press. And he has valid reasons to feel that way!

A section of the media has gone berserk, stating that the veteran film-maker's next project is titled KAISA JADOO KIYA [considering the lucky mascot of KOI MIL GAYA was 'Jadoo'] and the film in question is, in fact, the sequel to K.M.G.

The report also adds that Roshan Sr. has already finalized the star cast of the film. Besides son Hrithik, KAISA JADOO KIYA will star Rekha, Preity Zinta and one more leading lady, to be finalized shortly!

That's not all, Roshan Sr. has already decided on the launch date of this mega project [Diwali], the pea-brained journos insist.

I am working on 2-3 stories currently and I won't take any decision till I complete writing them all, Roshan Sr. informs me in an exclusive chat, When I haven't even finalized the script, how can anyone expect me to announce a film, also finalize the star cast and even decide on the launching date? The least these gossip mongers could do was to crosscheck facts before writing such garbage. I am glad you've called to clarify. I've been extremely upset since the news broke out.

Roshan Sr. continues in the same breath, The job of a film-maker is tough these days. The script has to appeal not just to the multiplex audiences, but also to the front-benchers. It ought to appeal on an all-India level, otherwise it serves no purpose in making such films.

As a parting shot, the veteran adds, I hope this clarification puts an end to all baseless speculation. Let's hope so, though knowing the desk-job specialists, they might cook up yet another story to attract some phukat attention. What say?
