Bahubali: The Beginning broke several records in the movie industry when it released last year. Now, with the sequel releasing later this month, the makers of the franchise want the movie experience to be bigger and grander.
Bahubali: The Beginning to release again before Bahubali: The Conclusion on April 7Filmmaker Karan Johar and director SS Rajamouli want April to be one of the biggest months in the movie business. The two parts in the Bahubali franchise will release within a span of two weeks. Ahead of the release of Bahubali: The Conclusion on April 28, the makers will be re-releasing the first part in some selected theatres on April 7.
During the trailer launch of the film, SS Rajamouli said, "We are planning to release part one maybe one or two weeks before the release of part two in southern states so that people can get back into the narrative."
Karan Johar will be distributing the Hindi version of the sequel as he did for the first part. He said that they are aware the people love every bit of the franchise when a movie has continued to be topical for two years. He informed that both, exhibitors and film lovers, had approached them to make Bahubali a binge-watching experience. Hence, they will be re-releasing the first part on April 7 with a special offer that takes care of tickets for both parts. He said that they are excited. April will witness the biggest movie event ever.
Directed SS Rajamoulo, Bahubali: The Conclusion will give an answer to the much-awaited question, 'Why Kattappa killed Bahubali?" The film stars Prabhas in the title role alongside Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles. It hits the screens on April 28.
