Dheeraj Kumar is one enterprising producer! We all know that the maker is ready with India’s first 3-D Plus film AABRA KA DAABRA, but here’s something you weren’t aware of. The gutsy maker has come up with a big folder of the film, which not only acts as a booklet, but also gives an insight into the marketing plans that he’ll embark upon. What’s so special about this folder, did you ask? Well, even this folder, like the film, has to be viewed with 3-D glasses, otherwise the images will appear blurred. And, believe it or not, a 3-D glass is attached to this folder. That’s not all! Dheeraj and his wife Zuby Kochhar have great marketing plans for AABRA KA DAABRA. To start with, 3-D books with sound will hit the market prior to its release. Besides, ‘magical corners’ will be erected in at least 30 theatres across the nation. What’s more, even the DVDs and VCDs that will be released after its theatrical release will be in 3-D, accompanied by a set of 3-D glasses. Meanwhile, Ultra has acquired the merchandising rights of the film. Ultra will market two characters, ‘Zulu’ and ‘Chuchu’ [from the film], in the Indian and Overseas markets. These products will be launched simultaneously with the launch of ‘Benjamin’ the elephant [a popular animated character in Germany] in the Indian market.
