If that wasn’t all, the opening weekend collections of Padmaavat also manage to surpass other big ticket Bollywood releases in Australia like Dangal that collected A$ 735,755 [Rs. 3.78 cr], Dhoom 3 that collected A$ 695,782 [Rs. 3.57 cr], PK that collected A$ 680,524 [Rs. 3.49 cr], Sultan that collected A$ 639,513 [Rs. 3.28 cr], Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that collected A$ 606,365 [Rs. 3.11 cr], Tiger Zinda Hai that collected A$ 577,781 [Rs. 2.97 cr], Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected A$ 560,016 [Rs. 2.87 cr] and Dilwale that collected A$ 493,577 [Rs. 2.53 cr].
With Padmaavat continuing its run at the box office in Australia and the world over, all that remains to be seen is whether the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial venture becomes one of the highest grosser till date.
