Brahmastra Advance Booking Report Sells 50,000 tickets across three national chains; likely to open huge

All eyes are on Brahmastra after a series of films including Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan have failed at the box office. As the countdown is on for the biggest spectacle, as per early updates, around 50,000 tickets have been sold for the upcoming movie, so far, across the three multiplex chains, PVR Cinemas, INOX and Cinepolis. Of the 50,000 tickets, more than 30,000 have been sold for the opening day.

While it is too early to predict what the opening figures would be or whether it will be better than the previous releases of 2022, one sees these tickets being selling faster as a sign of hope that this might bright audiences to the theatres again.

The film will require word of mouth for box office collections to show the magic. If the first day’s response lives up to the expectations, the film needs to maintain the momentum for at least a week in order to see growth. One can expect spot bookings once the film releases. It all counts on the word of mouth on Friday and the business for the first weekend depends on the response of the audience.
