Not surprisingly, Singham Returns that had the added advantage of a somewhat extended weekend takes the second spot collecting Rs.77.69 crores. Out beating previous releases like Salman Khan's Jai Ho that collected Rs.60.68 crores, Ek Villain that collected Rs.50.70 crores and Gunday that managed Rs.43.93 crores.
However, the film failed to beat the record of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick that collected Rs. 83.83 crores on its Opening Weekend.
