This Friday saw the release of T-Series' much awaited film Roy, starring Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film set off to a flying start at the box-office.
In this report, we compare the Opening Day collections of Roy with other releases of 2015. Roy has collected Rs. 10.40 cr on the opening day, thus, making it the highest opening day grosser film of 2015. Following on a close second is Baby (Rs. 9.3 cr), which is followed by Tevar (Rs. 7.05 cr), Alone (Rs. 3.5 cr) and Shamitabh (Rs. 3.5 cr).
