Yesteryear actress Hema Malini will be the guest of honour at the upcoming Bollywood Festival in Norway. Hema will be a festival guest at the opening of the festival on September 7 at Lorenskog Cinema.
The festival which will be celebrating its 10 years with a dance show at the Oslo Concert House on Sunday, September 9, will feature Hema Malini, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol. While Hema will be the guest of honour, her daughters will perform a classical dance presentation in Odissi and Bharatnatyam.
The Bollywood festival Norway which aims at promoting Indian culture, dance and cinema in Norway, will be celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema this year and would screen the best of Bollywood including few of Ray movies and many old movies which have shown the true meaning of Cinema. Among many films shown during the film festival will also be Sholay.
Previous guests that have been to the festival include the likes of Anil Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Manoj Bajpayee, Prem Chopra, Neha Dhupia, Padmani Kolhapure Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan to name a few.
