After bringing in Rs. 6.20 crores on Monday, Raja Shivaji stayed stable on Tuesday as Rs. 5.40 crores came in. The film has been seeing the highest collections ever for a Marathi film on a daily basis and the trend is continuing right till its fifth day as well. This would be the case today and tomorrow too, which means overall the film will not just have the biggest first week ever for a Marathi film but will also be amongst the highest lifetime grossers ever in quick time.

Since the film had opted for Blockbuster Tuesday offer, one expected the collections to be closer to that of Monday since the tickets were available at reduced prices. While there has been a bit of a drop, that’s nominal though and as it is, a number over Rs. 5 crores is good even for a Hindi film and here it’s a Marathi film that we are talking about. The film should collect around Rs. 8 crores more before the close of week and that will make the overall collections quite healthy.
Meanwhile another milestone that the film is now gearing up for is that of a half century score. Currently standing at Rs. 48.60 crores, the film will comfortably cross Rs. 50 crores by afternoon itself and then add a lot more before the day is thorough. That said, there is good journey ahead of this Riteish Deshmukh led multi-starrer since it’s an expensive film and hence theatrical revenue in weeks to come would be looked at with keen interest.
