However, despite competition from Mary Kom and Finding Fanny, Creature 3D has been doing well at the box office.

According to the statement released by the makers, Creature 3D, that was made on a budget of Rs. 18 crores (including print and publicity), earned Rs. 15 crores nett over the first five days of its release, of which the producer's share is around Rs. 6.75 crores. The sale of its Satellite Rights has fetched the makers Rs. 12 crores while Rs. 6 crores have been generated from the sale of Music, Overseas and Home Video Rights. This brings the total recovery of Rs. 24. 75 crores in the first five days of the film's release itself, over the total Cost of Production of Rs. 18 crores.

Commenting on the film's success, producer Bhushan Kumar says, "In my opinion, Creature 3D worked because it gave the audience a chance to watch its first home grown creature film. The film not only scared the audiences, but also gave them the VFX par Hollywood standards." He further added, "We are glad that our audience accepted and liked India's first creature film and gave us such good numbers. The film, in the first week itself with the music and satellite rights, has given us major profits."
