However, the film fails to beat the previous releases like 2 States that collected Rs. 38.06 crores, Humshakals that collected Rs. 40.13 crores, Holiday with Rs. 41.32 crores and Gunday that collected Rs. 43.93 crores in their respective opening weekends.
However, the film ranks higher than Varun's previous release Main Tera Hero that managed to collect Rs. 22.73 crores.
