The Akshay Kumar - Sonakshi Sinha starrer Holiday, directed by A R Murugadoss has been doing roaring business. In this Box Office report, we compare the collections of the film to the other big releases of 2014.
Interestingly, Holiday that is currently running in its third week has become the second highest grosser of 2014, collecting Rs. 102.62 crores till date, surpassing the Arjun Kapoor - Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States that collected Rs. 102.13 crores. However, since the film is still running in theatres, we wonder whether it will be able to surpass the collections of the Salman Khan film Jai Ho that collected Rs. 116 crores.
In the second comparison, we take a look at the second week collections of Holiday as compared to other films that have made it to the second week this year. Surprisingly, Holiday fares much better than the other films with much higher collections.
