The three new releases met with diverse reactions in the international markets. JHOOTHA HI SAHI is a damp squib in U.K. and America [approx. $ 64,700 on 48 screens] … HISSS is a supreme disaster in U.K. Also, it ranks amongst the lowest openers of the year there … RAKHT CHARITRA fetched a flying start in America. Generally, action/violent films don't open well, but the film has collected a solid $ 2,12,000 [Hindi + Telugu versions] on 34 screens.

U.K. BOX-OFFICE

  • JHOOTHA HI SAHI has debuted at No. 20 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 32,681 [approx. Rs. 22.80 lacs] on 24 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,362.


  • ENTHIRAN - THE ROBOT [Tamil; last weekend: No. 21, this weekend: No. 28]: In its fourth weekend, the film has collected £ 11,586 on 8 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,448. Total: £ 5,87,867 [approx. Rs. 4.10 crores].
