DP: Oh! Let me look closely.
NF: You have dark brown too or dirt brown (smiles) But listen, on Twitter I can't feel your energy. Now when we are talking and sitting it's different. I can feel your energy. I can see our connection. But we are losing it when it comes to the internet.
DP: But we have a new system in place on Facebook called the video chat.
NF: (laughs) You are so much into the social media. Ok, but can I really say that video chat isn't good. Imagine you have your girl friend living in Singapore and you are here. You cannot feel her vibe, her energy and everything else that comes with her that you can feel if you were together.
DP: Which means that when you will start dating a guy for serious....
NF: I wish!
DP: Why???
NF: It's not so easy. The profession I am in makes me the busiest woman. Secondly, I'm also very picky. Money, status and all the other fake sh** doesn't matter to me. It's the inner being that matters.
DP: So what's the first criterion for men? I'm first in the queue though.
NF: (laughs out loud) For me, sense of humour is the criteria. I am funny and I want my man to be funny too and who can make me laugh. I also want to make each other laugh. He should also possess some sort of spirituality. I am not into religion but I'm into being in touch with your own inner self and a mind that isn't narrow. One last thing is also him being adventurous. Having this need to live, explore and experience. These are the main things and I can go on and on.
DP: You think Indian men can ever qualify doing what you just said?
(Nargis comes close and almost whispers in my ears)
NF: I think Indian men are scared of me (laughs).

NF: (laughs) You won't believe but we function like a normal family. Being a model, I've stayed with all boys and girls in one apartment but still live like one big family. We have respect for each other. The boys are like our big brothers. My relationship with guys is very different compared to Indian girls. Even Indian guys don't really understand that.
DP: What about Ranbir?
NF: Ranbir is one of my best friends, and a friend for life. Imtiaz is a good friend now and a friend for life. Kumar and Laksh, my makeup and hair guys are friends for life too. I can call them and cry. That's the relationship I share with these men.
DP: But what was that moment when you really fell for someone. A man I mean (wink)
NF: I don't know. I think I had a crush on my best friend in high school and my girlfriend started dating him. I got really upset. I didn't tell anyone. I am a very shy person.
DP: What? Are you crazy?
NF: Not now, not now (laughs). There is a difference now. When I was a child. I was like cool, I had piercing, short hair, dressed strange and made my own clothes but I felt that no one knew me. The weirdness of having more friends and still feeling alone was scary. I didn't connect to anyone.
DP: But then why don't you spend time with anybody and get to know them better?
NF: I do now. But I realise I don't have a lot of time too. I may never get to see you again or maybe we can meet in a couple of years. I don't know.
DP: Don't say that! We have to meet often. Thank God for the social media. Twitter is there to keep in touch.
NF: Yea but when it comes to one to one, when I look in your eyes we have a connection that Twitter can't. -
DP: But seriously, you should start seeing him. NF: What does that mean? DP: I mean, you should ‘date’ him. NF: Oh! You know what? DP: Yes it is.
NF: It is about us. You've ruined it but I'm sure you can still redeem yourself.
DP: I have to. I don't have any option. But you see, that's the problem with Indian men. They panic, shiver....
NF: You do?
DP: Oh no, I mean, in general.
NF: (laughs out loud) It's very different here, culturally. I grew up with so many boys around me. I have so many guy friends and hardly any girl friends. I have all the 'dudes' around me because I am a 'dudeeeee'. Coming to India was scary. -
Now let me make this loud and clear to all men. Never ever talk about any ‘man’ if you are on a date with Nargis Fakhri. Don’t ask! Just do as I say. Read on and you’ll figure out yourself. Never ever talk about any 'man' if you are on a date with Nargis Fakhri. Don't ask! Just do as I say. Read on and you'll figure out yourself. On the couch, I was figuring out something else. Nargis Fakhri's body is striking and no matter how much I, or we men, try to avoid, our eyes will definitely meet the legs - tall and slim with incredible hot legs on which an impressive muscle occasionally pops above the knee, earned, no doubt, from many years of hard labour on the ramp, on the beach and on the sets of commercials. Off screen as much as on, there's something about watching Nargis Fakhri that makes a person feel relaxed (or at least a woman; her effect on men may be of the more stimulating kind). The more Nargis talks about life in general and her profession that's a mixed bag as of now makes me want to believe that she is one of those artists whose creative life takes precedence over more mundane concerns. Although it takes me a while to adjust to her folksy new and old interests - making friends, making more male friends, making friends for life, travelling the world, being funny, laughing out loud, love for candle stands, love for modelling and of course, that need for spirituality. Her mercurial moods lie close to the surface. She's eager to laugh, unafraid to cry, easy to take offence and most of the time sports that real smile of hers on her face than the fake ones I've seen far too many times. That's how real my delectable date is. Presenting you Part 2 of On a Date with Nargis Fakhri. To you darling! And to our friendship! Cheers!
Nargis Fakhri - Modelling is really easy compared to acting. I came to a new place where I was sick every day, left my family, crying every day and learning a new language that is quite difficult.
Devansh Patel - Hang on, hang on! Speak in Hindi please.
NF: I don't wanna be doing that. Ok, 'Aap kaise hai?' But I can't have a conversation in Hindi.
DP: Why not? You have friends like Neetuji, Ranbir and all.
NF: Yea! But I don't see Ranbir often because he is too busy.
