There is one commonality in all Madhur Bhandarkar movies. Whether it’s PAGE 3 or CORPORATE or TRAFFIC SIGNAL, the start at the ticket window has always been slow. But the film gathers pace towards the evening shows on Day 1 itself.
TRAFFIC SIGNAL started on a 25%-30% level, but showed positive signs on Friday at several places, mainly Mumbai. Given the fact that there’s no major release till 16th February, the distributors of the film have flooded the market with prints, hoping to extract as much as they can in the first two weeks.
Meanwhile, the industry is hopeful that TRAFFIC SIGNAL should gather force from Saturday onwards.
