The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 that released in December 2021 has done well at the box office. After a sluggish start the business of the film saw exponential growth over its second and third week running. In fact, Pushpa despite its OTT release has managed to continue to draw in audience to theatres.

Collecting Rs. 4.41 cr Pushpa: The Rise has emerged as the second highest all-time seventh week grosser following just behind Uri – The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 6.67 cr in its seventh week. On the other hand though, the business of Pushpa has managed to surpass other releases like, Padmaavat that collected Rs. 3.82 cr, 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 3.37 cr, Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 2.80 cr, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 2.25 cr, Badhaai Ho that collected Rs. 2.10 cr, AndhaDhun that collected Rs. 1.25 cr, Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 1.17 cr, and Dangal that had collected Rs. 1.02 cr.
Currently, Pushpa still continues to run in select locations. In fact, the business of the film is expected to see a further addition to its overall collections till the time the next big ticket Bollywood entertainer hits screens.
