Box Office: Here is the territorial breakdown of Pushpa at the domestic box office at the end of Week 7

The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 has proved to be unstoppable at the box office. After a lukewarm start the business of the film saw exponential growth in the subsequent weeks, managing to cross the Rs. 100 cr. mark 45 days after its release. In fact, the stupendous success of the film stunned the audience and trade alike, while proving that cinema that provides a great viewing experience will certainly work. Now, almost at the end of its theatrical run, Pushpa that has continued to see audience frequent theatres despite its OTT release has almost gone from the big screen.

In this box office report we take a look at the business of Pushpa: The Rise at the end of its seventh week while breaking the same based on territory wise data. Not surprisingly, the Mumbai circuit contributes the highest towards the total collections of Pushpa at the box office, with Rs. 40.22 cr. coming in from this territory alone. Following Mumbai is the Delhi-UP territory that saw the film draw in Rs. 14.4 cr., CP (Central Punjab) with Rs. 13.12 cr., Nizam-AP with Rs. 5.09 cr., West Bengal collecting Rs. 5.04 cr. Interestingly, the Hindi dubbed version of Pushpa managed to work wonders even in the mass dominated sectors like Bihar & Jharkhand that saw Rs. 4.69 cr. coming in, Rajasthan that collected Rs. 4.63 cr., East Punjab that saw collections of Rs. 4.59 cr. If that wasn’t enough, even low key territories like Orissa, CI, and Assam witnessed good collections with Rs. 4.47 cr., Rs. 3.36 cr. and Rs. 1.27 cr. coming in respectively.

With a total collection of Rs. 100.88 cr. Pushpa: The Rise has become one of the most successful films of 2021. In fact, trade states that the total collections of Pushpa could well have been much higher had Covid restrictions been lifted.
