KGF – Chapter 2 crosses 2 mil. USD [Rs. 15.26 cr.] at the North America box office :Bollywood Box Office

This week we finally see the release of the much talked about and keenly anticipate film KGF – Chapter 2, starring Yash the Prashanth Neel directorial opened on a thunderous note. Released across 10000 screens worldwide the film which has been well received by the audience and critics alike has been faring well in the domestic and international market as well.

In fact, despite clashing at the box office with yet another multilingual in the form of the Vijay starrer Beast, the Yash starrer has emerged as the number one choice of theatre going audience. Like the domestic market where in KGF – Chapter 2 has emerged as the box office leader, in the overseas markets as well, the film has been enjoying a similar fate. In Australia KGF 2 has managed to draw in 354,362 USD, UK/ Ireland the film managed 388,062 USD, while in U.S.A it raked in a whopping 2,016,076 USD, and another 147,322 USD in Canada.

Going by the collections, the business of KGF – Chapter 2 is expected to see an increase in collections as the weekend progresses. Currently predictions sate that KGF 2 which enjoys a four-day extended weekend, coupled with a massive screen count is guaranteed to see a massive jump in collections.
