Shivaay continues to register good collections. The kind of momentum that it had gained on Monday was a clear indication of a good Tuesday on cards. Given the fact that it was a partial holiday too ensured that footfalls were steady even on the fifth day for the Ajay Devgn starrer. The film collected Rs. 11.05 crores more and with this, the total so far stands at Rs. 56.96 crores.
This is a good number for the film in five days and the first week collections should go past the Rs. 70 crore mark. For a film that took an opening day of Rs. 10.24 crore, it would be a total that the makers of Shivaay won't mind at all.
The film has seen a good perception change around it in the last couple of days. Though critics weren't too kind on the film and audiences didn't go in hordes either in the beginning, the word of mouth - especially in smaller centers - is allowing the film to fight back in a big way. Yet again, it is the interiors that are staying loyal to Ajay Devgn and that is paying off well for Shivaay.
