After extensive promotions, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bombay Velvet released yesterday. The film, however, seems to have opened to adisappointing start at the box office. In this edition of Box Office Report, we analyze the latest release of this Kapoor lad by comparing it with other releases of the actor.
Taking into consideration just the Opening Day figures, Bombay Velvet is one of the lowest grossers of Ranbir Kapoor till date. The film fails to surpass the collections of Ranbir's most
popular films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi! and even the opening day collections of his last dud Besharam.
What remains to be seen is whether Bombay Velvet manages to do better during the weekend, thereby posting decent collections.
