Awarapan 2 Box Office: Emraan Hashmi starrer scores Rs. 21.66 crore in second weekend, ranks 6th highest of 2026

Emraan Hashmi starrer Awarapan 2 has continued to hold its ground at the box office in its second weekend. The film collected Rs. 21.66 crore in its second weekend, making it the sixth highest second weekend grosser of 2026.

Awarapan 2 box office Emraan Hashmi film earns Rs 21.66 crore in second weekend

While the second weekend is naturally expected to see a drop from a film’s opening weekend, Awarapan 2 has managed to retain enough audience interest to stay firmly among the year’s better-performing films. The Rs. 21.66 crore weekend becomes another indicator of the film’s sustained theatrical run, particularly considering the number of new releases competing for screens and audience attention.

At the top of the list is Dhurandhar The Revenge, which recorded a phenomenal Rs. 164 crore in its second weekend. Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows with Rs. 83.80 crore, while Border 2 stands third with Rs. 48.50 crore. Dhamaal 4 occupies the fourth position with Rs. 27.79 crore, followed closely by Bhooth Bangla at Rs. 26.90 crore.

With Rs. 21.66 crore, Awarapan 2 takes the sixth spot, narrowly ahead of Welcome To The Jungle, which collected Rs. 20.53 crore in its second weekend. The difference between the two films is just Rs. 1.13 crore, making the comparison particularly interesting given that both films are among the notable Hindi theatrical releases of the year.

Further down the list are Project Hail Mary at Rs. 12.90 crore, Cocktail 2 at Rs. 12.37 crore and Main Vaapas Aaunga at Rs. 12.12 crore.

What makes Awarapan 2’s second weekend performance noteworthy is that the film is no longer simply benefiting from the curiosity surrounding its release. A second weekend of Rs. 21.66 crore suggests that the audience response has translated into sustained footfalls, with the film continuing to find viewers beyond its initial fan base.

The film's journey has also been interesting because Awarapan 2 was always carrying the weight of an emotionally remembered original. Instead of merely relying on nostalgia for its first weekend, the sequel has managed to keep the momentum going into its second week, giving it the legs required for a healthy theatrical run.

The second weekend figure also places the film in some good company. Only five films have managed a better second weekend in 2026 so far, and Awarapan 2 has comfortably moved ahead of several major releases on the list.

For a film that is now well into its second week, Rs. 21.66 crore over the weekend is a solid sign of audience hold. The bigger question now is how far the film can stretch its theatrical run and where it eventually lands on the year’s overall box office charts.

For now, though, Awarapan 2 has another distinction to its name: the sixth highest second weekend grosser of 2026.
