Overseas: Washout

By Bollywood Hungama

While LIFE MEIN KABHIE KABHIEE did not have a theatrical release in U.K., the Sunny Deol starrer BIG BROTHER made it to the theatres here. Expectedly, the film is a washout and ranks amongst the lowest openers of this year.

Amongst holdover titles in U.K., PROVOKED is rock-steady, while NAMASTEY LONDON is a smash hit. On the other hand, THE NAMESAKE continues to under-perform in this territory, while SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM is breathing its last.

THE NAMESAKE continues to do phenomenally well in the U.S. The film has crossed Rs. 36 crores in 38 days and is still counting. It's faring very well in Australia too.

Weekend: April 13 - 15, 2007.
