Trying a different genre:

After making a love story with Govinda and Urmila Matondkar, HUM TUM PE MARTE HAIN (1999), Nabh Kumar ‘Raju’ [erstwhile assistant of Sooraj R. Barjatya] did not announce any new project. But he’s all set to attempt a new genre in his next film, titled CHOT AAJ ISKO, KAL TERE KO. The film in question will be produced by Sanjay Thakur and according to Nabh Kumar, it will focus on the clash between two groups. Ashutosh Rana will head the first group that comprise of ordinary citizens, while Sharad Kapoor will head the group of the corrupt officers. There’s a love story as well, for which we’ve signed Rohit Nayyar and well-known model Jesse Randhawa, he divulges, adding that Pooja Batra will enact the role of an honest police officer in the film. Is the film similar to the gangwar-based films that have been witnessed since quite some time? No, not at all, he clarifies, You’ll not find anything remotely similar to SATYA, VAASTAV, COMPANY or CHHAL. We’ve also decided not to cast artistes who were part of those films since we don’t want people to draw comparisons. CHOT AAJ ISKO, KAL TERE KO has music by Raju Singh and is scripted by Atul Tiwari (MISSION KASHMIR, KASH AAP HAMARE HOTE). It will roll on December 20 with a 10-day schedule.
