It was Aamir's younger sister's, birthday and Imran had come to celebrate it with the entire family to Aamir's house. He was barely three years old then and being Aamir's favorite he was always close to him.
Childhood memories are always cherished; specially the ones that leave a lasting memory. Like the first time you shaved your head, your first friends for life, the one game that no can beat you at and the endless birthday gifts that you can happily demand with no guilt. And like any other kid in the world, newcomer Imran Khan has had a similar fun filled childhood. After all, with a Mama like Aamir one can't really complain of not being entertained.
Bollywood Hungama takes you on a trip down memory lane of Imran's childhood and stories of the Mama-Bhanja bonding.
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander has been etched in our minds since ages. The film also has a special place in Imran's life, as he played Little Aamir in the film. Six years old, Imran was surely miffed with the idea of pulling his pants down and exposing himself in front of the camera but he did it. Imran has played Little Aamir in many of Aamir's films including Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
Birthday and cakes are always a fancy; Imran celebrated his birthdays with his best friend Imaad (Naseeruddin Shah's son). They never had a birthday without each other. Their relationship was indeed very deep as they not only shared their friendship, and love but also shared their cakes and clothes.
Playing Games is something which you associate more with kids than adults. Imran loved his hide and seek games; innovative as it seems his creativity found him unique places to hide. Here is a picture of Imran's hideout while Mansoor Khan seeks him. Aamir himself apparently took the picture.
Imran realized his dream at a very young age. Being born in the film industry is always an added boon as it exposes you to films at a very tender age. As Imran plays with the camera, he had probably already decided that this is where his future lies forever, films. After assisting directors, Imran finally will be seen on screen in his first film, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na which opens across cinema halls July 4, 2008.
