Darling of the masses, Salman Khan has made ardent fans throng theatres this August to watch his latest film, Ek Tha Tiger. The high octane action film that was shot across five countries was also the first Bollywood film to be shot in Dublin, Ireland, that had over 1200 shots digitally augmented by Tata Elxsi's Visual Computing Labs (VCL). Sixty artists worked through six and a half months to deliver the VFX for the film. After savoring success with Singham last year, the magical duo, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn returned in July with Bol Bachchan. The post-production process was one of the most crucial element that assisted with the success of the over the top narrative of the film. Pixion Studios was roped in to deliver a colossal 68 minutes of visual effects work in 5 months. Navin Paul, was the VFX supervisor on the film while he was at Pixion. Talking about the magnitude of the work involved in Bol Bachchan, Navin says, "Since the narrative of the film and its characters were based in Rajasthan, it was necessary for the team to ensure that everything encompassed a Rajasthani aura to it. The challenges involved with such a project was to procure an output that was convincing and credibly."
