KGF – Chapter 2 [Hindi] Day 2 Box Office: Yash starrer collects Rs. 46.79 cr; enters the 100 crore club :Bollywood Box Office

Yet another powerful day at the box office - That's how things turned out to be for Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer KGF - Chapter 2 [Hindi], what with Rs. 46.79 crores more been collected at the box office. It has been two back-to-back partial holidays for the film, as it was Good Friday yesterday, and hence the film has held up better than how such big ticket actions films usually do when coming off a full national holiday into the regular next day. That has proven to be advantageous for the Yash starrer since today on Saturday the film will be excellent again before going full throttle tomorrow on Sunday.

So far, the film has collected Rs. 100.74 crore, entering the Rs. 100 crore club already. This is just a start for the film though as so much more is yet to come which will soon qualify it as a blockbuster film. Just the Hindi version of the film has now crossed the entire lifetime business of KGF - Chapter 1 which pretty much tells the tale.

If one compares it with Baahubali - The Conclusion [Hindi], after two days the film is doing far better. Released on a non-holiday, the SS Rajamouli film had collected Rs. 41 crores on the first day. However, what had turned around its fortune was a phenomenal Saturday when there was hardly any dip with Rs. 40.5 crores coming in. Further to that it had jumped on Sunday again to collect Rs. 46.50 crores. The film's two day collections were Rs. 81.50 crores and while KGF - Chapter 2 [Hindi] is currently much ahead, similar kind of run today and tomorrow will ensure that the first four days would be much ahead of the SS Rajamouli directed all time blockbuster.
