The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 that was released yesterday opened with a bang. Released across 10000 screens worldwide the film has been one of the most keenly anticipated releases of recent times. After a stellar opening day, the business of KGF 2 held steady on its second day, with a further Rs. 46.79 cr coming in. With this the total collections of KGF – Chapter 2 have now gone past the much-coveted Rs. 100 cr mark.
Collecting a staggering Rs. 53.95 cr on Day 1, with a further Rs. 46.79 cr, KGF 2 has now become the first release to manage to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark in just 2 days of its release. If that wasn’t all with the film entering the highly coveted Rs. 100 crore club, it has managed to also become the actor Yash’s first release to achieve this feat. Besides him, the film also becomes director Prashanth Neel’s first entry into the club.
Currently KGF – Chapter 2 still continues to run to packed houses, in fact, trade predictions state that the business of the film will see immense growth over the weekend, especially thanks to the Easter weekend holiday that will boost collections. As of now, advance predictions have claimed that KGF 2 is seeing a massive spate of booking for evening and night shows on Saturday with Sunday seeing a further increase.
