In fact, the film has managed to fare better than previous releases like Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior which collected Rs. 13.53 cr, Chhichhore which collected Rs. 11.07 cr, Kabir Singh which collected Rs. 10.34 cr, 3 Idiots which collected Rs. 10.31 cr, Dangal which collected Rs. 10.24 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 10.05 cr, and Stree which had collected Rs. 9.28 cr. However, the fourth-weekend collections of KGF 2 do not surpass certain other releases like Uri - The Surgical Strike which collected Rs. 18.94 cr, and Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that had collected Rs. 18.30 cr.
Currently, KGF – Chapter 2 continues to run in theatres, with the audience patronizing the film in droves. In fact, KGF 2 has managed to retain its hold and has proved to be a tough competitor to the Hollywood release Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Going forward, the business of KGF – Chapter 2 which is pegged at Rs. 412.80 cr is expected to see further growth over its fourth week running, with estimates stating that the film could see its collections near the Rs. 450 cr mark by the end of the week.
