It has been one unbelievable run for The Kerala Story, what with a double digit score earned all over again on Tuesday. This isn’t all as the collections have even increased from the previous day, what with Monday numbers being Rs. 10.07 crores and now Tuesday standing at Rs. 11.14 crores. This is truly superb and when it comes to the box office performance of a small movie earning big bucks then it has happened only once before with The Kashmir Files.
The way the film is going, Wednesday and Thursday collections would also be tremendous and a double digit score is on the cards. This is happening without the support of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala which shows how the core territories are doing excellent all over and resulting in very strong numbers. Moreover, there is genuine appreciation as well for the film which is only ensuring that the film will keep running strong at least till the release of Adipurush.
The film has also entered the Rs. 50 Crore Club in quick time with the overall score reading as Rs. 56.86 crores after 5 days. This makes it an average of over Rs. 11 crores per day, which is tremendous. The first week will surely close at over Rs. 75 crores and then the Rs. 100 Crore Club entry will happen by the close of second weekend.
