The Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam released in China a while back. However, unlike previous Bollywood releases in this market the film started on a rather lacklustre note with collections remaining low. Now on its second weekend running, the business of Drishyam has seen an increase in collections at the China box office.
Collecting USD 3.37 million [Rs. 25.80 cr] Drishyam has now managed to surpass the collections of the Salman Khan starrer Sultan which collected USD 3.01 million and the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore which had collected USD 3.01 million. Interestingly, the business of Drishyam saw a jump in collections over its second weekend registering a 45% increase in collections at the China box office as compared to the opening weekend.
Going forward it is predicted that the business of Drishyam at the China box office will continue to see collections trickling in. In fact, expectations are that the overall business of the film will next surpass the business of the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil which had collected USD 3.42 million at the China box office.
