The action packed Hollywood release Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released a while back, and since then the film has been doing rather well at the box office. Though unlike certain previous Marvel film’s the business of Doctor Strange 2 has been rather low, it has managed to make an impact at the Indian box office. After crossing the Rs. 100 cr mark, the business of the film has continued to grow with a steady trickle of collections.
Now in its fifth week running Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has seen a further Rs. 1 cr being added to its overall collections. With this the total collections of the film at the Indian box office currently stand at Rs. 129.8 cr. While compared to its overseas collections, the business of the film in India may seem rather low, it has managed to enthral the audience and survive the competition from other Bollywood releases.
Going forward, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is likely to continue to see collections trickle in. especially with the new releases underperforming the Hollywood entertainer could get a new lease on life in theatres.
