After enjoying a rollicking ride for 31 straight days in theatres, out of which on 30 days it hit a double digit score (a historic record), Dhurandhar saw its first noticeable drop on Monday. The film collected Rs. 5.40 crores at the box office and that’s yet another HUGE record for its 32nd day. Yes, it’s a drop when compared to Friday (Rs. 9.70 crores) but that’s because the film has been over-exceeding numbers on every day basis. Also, even this drop is less than 50%.

It’s the fifth week in the running now and typically films are out of theatres by this time with just one or two shows at select multiplexes. However, the film is still playing like a new release and is more than the sum total of all the other films in the running, be it Bollywood or Hollywood. That goes on to show the kind of supremacy that the Aditya Dhar film has been enjoying ever since its arrival.
The Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair has now crossed the Rs. 825 crores mark and currently stands at Rs. 825.70 crores. The film hasn’t opted for Blockbuster Tuesday offer even today which means tickets would be available at regular rates. Still, one can expect yet another day of around Rs. 5 crores. By the close of fifth week, the film would be quite close to Rs. 840 crores mark and then by Sunday, it will cross Rs. 850 crores milestone. There are new releases The RajaSaab and Jana Nayagan arriving this Friday, which means the film will face stiff competition for itself.
All Time Mega Blockbuster.
