The second part of the SS Rajamouli directed epic saga Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion finally released in China last week. After dominating the Indian box office, the film which fast became the highest grosser in India has been doing similarly well in China. After collecting USD 2.41 million [Rs. 16.16 cr] on its opening day the business of Baahubali 2 at the China box office saw good growth over its opening weekend.
In fact, the business of the film managed to draw in a further USD 2.94 million [Rs. 19.72 cr] on its second day and another USD 2.26 million [Rs. 15.15 cr] on Day 3. With this the total collections of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion at the China box office have managed to cross the Rs. 50 cr mark in just three days with it being pegged at USD 7.63 million [Rs. 51.17 cr].
Given the current scenario, though Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion does not seems to be enjoying the same stunning box office run like the previously released films viz. Hindi Medium, Secret Superstar and Dangal, the business of the film has managed to remain more or less stable at the China box office. Current expectations are that the business of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion is likely to continue to grow eventually crossing the Rs. 100 cr mark by the end of its first week.
